I'm up for splitting the matches

My order of preference  on decks to pilot:
sopahope (played sopahope a lot vs FG/arena in original, pretty straightforward)
voodoobravery (played a lot off vdb vs FG in original, not so straightforward, strategy relies on confusing AI)
boarhoard (looks straightforward)
placeholder (for some reason this looks straightforward too)
kaleidoscope (not sure why this deck doesn't have more stall, but okay)
swallow (tried this deck over the years & am never satisfied)
destinygeese (this looks like hell to pilot)
(I don't know what hitei's submitted deck is)
malice (I don't get it)

Rewards have been sent by forum private message; redeem codes via the in-game main user menu.  Rewards were slightly boosted to 10k Gold and 2x Shiny rares.  Results were added here.  Thanks all for participating and spectating.

We have 9 decks now.  I'll wait for feedback on match format before running the face-off.  Players that submitted decks: note that your deck stats are 200 HP, 3 mark, 2 draw.  You may want to lightly test your build in custom.  If you'd rather I do it, I can fine tune builds with your permission.

*Edit* - current match format will be:

Best of 3 match
Each deck plays one match, then next community deck and next DG are up
Each deck/DG has one match life
Deck order for both sides is RNG
Matchups will be known in advance
Once each deck has a playthrough, we do new RNG matchups for 2nd round of decks that survived round1

We may possibly add a 10th deck if the community player can get it together soon. If added, the 10th DG will be Pele.  Septima will play/record the decks unless someone else steps up in the next 24 hours to volunteer.

No Phoenix here, but a fun bow that Serprex made in testing before Wicked shield was released.

Here's something I made blending jack+nightfall and Wicked+Phoenix.  Wicked can use Fungus as sacrifice target.  Blood moon is redundant perhaps, but powerful with shadows and fungus nonetheless. Replacing Bmoon with perma control might be better.

Variants: Wicked Rejuv, Immo Rejuv, Wicked Beguile Regrade and Wicked Spiritual.  Also the Mage Wicked.

Metamorphosis can be be applied to Fire if/when you feel it is no longer necessary to have darkness quanta.  As others taught me, you can replace Wicked shield with a new one to draw new shield's damage reduction.

We're at 8 decks, need one more.  Then we can run the Demigod Face-off: 9 of our decks with DG stats vs. the 9 oldest DGs. 

What match format would people like to see?  Best of X games? RNG pairing? X deck lives? Deck winner keeps going or automatically rotate to new deck after each match?

hmm, right, spider cow doesn't have mutant on its text, but its active puts mutant status on it. Done to avoid having spider cows land on field with randomly buffed stats

No, mutant status is only used in transform. I forget if we preserved original behavior of reapply mutant buffs with PU, which would also impact deja

These same rules apply to Unstable Shapeshifter (hence the funny quads with shifter/immortal/hognose/charger)

Relevant code is `transform` in game.rs

transform also applies mutation effects when instance has mutant status, so casting jelly on a mutant (note spider cows are not mutants) creates a jelly with a mutant active (but cast/attack/hp are overridden by jelly spell after transform)

If spider cows are not mutants, then why does casting jelly on a cow grant it a random active?

Additionaly, does the mutant trait have any other interactions? There aren't any cards that directly state effects on this trait.
