Brackets posted, as well as Round 1 timer. Of course, you are free to play Round 2 matches as well, this is simply deadline for Round 1. If you cannot play your Round 1 match before deadline, try to at least schedule your match and then PM me.

Random card generating up and running at http://etg.dek.im/speed . All you need is a random string and enter it after speed/ in the url. For example if I say the random string is "thisisrandom", I can go to http://etg.dek.im/speed/thisisrandom and get a random list of cards. This string should be provided by a third party at the time of the duel to avoid duelists choosing/preparing a certain decklist.

Note that all lists consists of 7 random cards from 6 random elements, Chroma is not included.

Since Pillars and Pends are always allowed, you can always field a legal deck.

I hope this is obvious, but just to make it absolutely clear: This is not played in Elements the Game, but in OpenEtG.

Also note that this will be played with your accounts, not in sandbox mode.

Unprepared

It hadn't felt all right to come to the duel completely unprepared, but you were supposed to after all. You saw your opponent on the other side of the arena, he looked as nervous as you did. You glanced on the chest to your right, knowing that when it opened, you would only have a short time to sift through its content and choose your gear. If previous duels were anything to go on, the duelist that took too long choosing their weapons were always defeated quickly. You changed your stance and got ready to run to the chest as you could hear the countdown getting close to zero...

Rules:
Before each match, you contact a third person in chat (either chats) to give you a random string of numbers and/or letters. Then both players can go to etg.dek.im/speed/*insert random string here* and receives a list of cards. Besides pillars, only these cards are allowed in that match. Also possible is to use "/roll" to obtain a seed
Any pillar or pendulum is allowed.
No upgraded cards allowed.

Note that the allowed-list will be different for each matchup.
You are of course given a little time to build your decks, but don't take too long. Try to start your first match within 15 minutes of getting the card list.
Try to finish the match in one sitting, do not take a longer break between duels unless you cannot avoid it.

Each match will be a best-of-3.
Note that you can switch decks between duels.
Tournament will be Double Elimination. The loser of each round move to Loser Brackets, if you lose there you're out. Final is between the winners of each bracket.

You must contact your opponent and schedule time with him, the tournament will not be happening on a specific time/date like the EtG tournaments.

Infinite deck-saving:
Type a name in the top-left textbox and click Save. To Load the deck, just type the name of the deck and click Load. The 10 Deck buttons still work as before. Type '/decks' in chat to get a list of your saved decks including link to codes.

What do you all think about upped or semi-uppedness? Would having a rule like "6 Upgrade cards alwed" next tourney be good or bad? Want more ups? Or none at all?

I got a few suggestions to change format, so please vote and post here.

Whatever you vote, it would be nice to post why you think this, this makes it easier to decide what the best format could be.

Of course we could have different formats for different tourneys, but having a default format is the best I think.

Other questions that you can answer here:

Should the tourneys remain completely unupped, or should we add an upped limit (say, 6 upped cards allowed per deck)? Or do you want a fully upped tourney?
Should we try another "Official Forum"-style tournament, i.e. we decide a time and all battles happen directly, like the tourneys on forum are? (Last time we tried this we had only 2 participants, so it was cancelled)
Anything else?
