So, the idea is two new shields that function similarly to wings; one blocks everything but aquatic creatures, and one blocks everything but nocturnal creatures.
Probably should have the same cost and duration as wings.

Airborne is more prevalent than nocturnal, which is more prevalent than aquatic.
The same cost/duration will have to be scaled accordingly.

A considerable % of creatures is airborne, unlike aquatic and nocturnal. It would have to be timed and I guess we don't want another dim shield-like balance discussion

^ I'm with Chapuz on this one.
I think there might be something interesting to be had to shields with vulnerability to only nocturnal / aquatic / golems... But the timed 100% block rate is very tricky to balance when there are few creatures with those traits available. Also note that airborne can be removed via web or draft and applied via draft. Nocturnal and aquatic cannot.
This again makes things a little tricky at present.
