So I set out to make a deck that relied on soothing savage orochi rather than giving in to ever escalating appeasement.
Here it is.

Surprisingly its actually quite effective against mages. The rejuvenation adds up pretty nicely. A 12|8 that heals you for 5 hp each turn is actually pretty cost effective.

Don't forget to muligan if your opening hand has no resonators.

Been able to beat every mage with this deck fairly consistently.
Be sure you have at least one resonator in your opening hand. If not, muligan till you do.

Fairly straightforward. Resonator + PA + Dissipation provides a near unbreakable stall unless opponent has accesss to shield bypass or poison.

Goose is mainly here as butterfly caster. Makes a perfect candidate because it has relatively high HP for its cost.

Maxwells demon is there to help kill creatures that might get dangerous later on (overdrive, divers, parasites)

This deck has enough cards to deckout almost every mage. The wall can be a problem, however, so be sure to take down its sanctuaries and especially its thorn shield.

Its not the fastest grinder, nor does it get EM very often, but it is quite consistent against mages. Champs may be a bit more tricky since they typically won't deck out and may outrush the shield sometimes.

Resonators ramp up your :water supply
Use poseiden, octopi, frost shield, and lances to stall for time.
Once there are several water towers (or a 2-3 resonators) in play, start cranking out nymph queens.

Name is a reference to the "Alpha Stigma" from the anime "Legendary Heroes": http://thelegendofthelegendaryheroes.wikia.com/wiki/Stigmas

Should be relatively obvious.
Get a few resonators in play then use metamorphosis to create any pillars you may need.
First morph going to aether is often quite useful since fractal is expensive.
Next, morph to whatever creature you intend to fractal.
Use phase shields to stall for time.
When ready, beat the enemy to a bloody pulp with their own creatures.

What idiot put that resonator down in the middle of shrieker country?! ... oh well. Here they come!

Pretty simple concept.
Throw down resonators to build up earth quanta to epic levels.
Use dim shield and stone skin (wait till you have a decent store of :earth ) to stall for time.
Once ready, pop down shriekers en mass using fractal.

Upped version has some serious OTK potential.

A simple georesonator based rush with stall. It can probably use some tweaking but the theme is there.
I went with spiders because they are a good compromise on cost and stats.
Large enough to not be easy otyugh fodder but low cost enough to get rolling in decent time.

Many variants and addins are possible. E.g. Stoneskin for longevity vs larger opponents, mix up creatures (add dragons maybe?) etc.

Sharded baricade variant works very well too.
Living weapon is also nice when AI has lots of CC but no PC. You can pop otyugh into weapon slot instead of shard to keep fungi rolling in a pinch.

Not sure how to make it much faster.

Grinds mages very rapidly but is a little inconsistent vs champ. Depends heavily on hand and draws since it is a race to see who dies first.
