Event rules for Round 1 here

Sign-ups are now closed.

Dear oEtG Players,

We, asdw152 and Septima Rhay, have returned from distant travels.   We passed by a palm reading shop and met a most interesting fortune teller - Madame Sophia.  She was well traveled and learned in the many ways of fortune readings, some of which we had never heard of.  Madame Sophia was intrigued by the cards we play with, the decks we build, our demigods, and this fortune called 'RNG'.  She will visit us soon, observe our battles, and offer fortunes and insights.  Don't miss out on this opportunity.  Build your libraries, sharpen your wits, and create a sign-up post to seek your fortunes.

Your event hosts,
asdw152

Spoiler for Questions asked::

Can you provide some examples of what the match and deckbuilding rules will be like?
Answer: players will have access to all cards, no upfront restrictions, and low base upgrades per game.  Players can seek event fortunes for free, which incentivize deckbuilding decisions for benefits such as deck upgrades, being able to gain information about opponents, seeing future information, etc.  Some of the fortunes might come with associated deckbuilding or gameplay restrictions.  Or they come with a +/- effect, such as increased benefit R2, but decreased benefit in R3.  Round 1 details and deck building examples, when posted, will make these mechanics clearer.  The fortunes, themselves, will be quite varied.

Also, will it be required to be online at specific times?
Answer: Players will need to coordinate synchronous matches with 3 opponents per round.  We haven't had much issue with this in past events.  Matches are usually 20-30min. long. Players also get 1 week to coordinate the matches.

Turlututu: meeting will be with three individuals, per round, at different times which you'll arrange over Discord or forum PM. There won't be a single point in time that everyone has to agree to
