Madame Sophia has inspired so many elemental players, it's just incredible. People who missed R1-R4 but were enthralled by the dissertation length rules are now eligible to join the fun. Round 5 is a bonus round and does not count towards official pvp. Anyone may sign up and play this funsie round. Create a sign-up post and start deckbuilding.

3. Deckbuilding bonuses for any game:
-Any copy of any arcana card in a deck = +1 deck upgrade
-One pair of different-element arcana cards in a deck = +3 deck upgrades per pair*
-One trio of different-element arcana cards in a deck = +6 deck upgrades per trio*
*These don't stack. Limited to one pair or trio combo -whichever generates more upgrade bonus is applied. When there are single arcana beyond the pair/trio, +1 ups for each single in the deck.

Counting bonus with trio: 1 trio =6; +8 for 4 boar/4alch=14 ups
Counting bonus with pairs: 5 pairs = 15up; 1 MT =1up; 15+1=16ups
Therefore, player takes the higher ups with 16

4. Deckbuilding bonuses for a maximum of 1 of 5 games:
Each of the following may be used in 1 of 5 games; they can also 'stack' and be used in the same game if desired
Lithomancy: Pick 1 shard, + 2 deck upgrades for any copy of that shard in the deck
Geomancy: Pick 1 element, for every 3 cards of that element in the deck, +1 deck upgrade
Paper fortune: Pick 1 fortune. Meet this deckbuilding condition once in G1-G4 and receive +5 upgrades for G5.
1. Play a deck with 6 or more unique creatures; creatures generated from summons or permanents don’t count towards the 6
2. Play a deck with at least 3 shields and 3 weapons
3. Play a harem deck with at least 3 different nymphs
4. Play a deck with at least 4 copies of any cats, cows, or worms: schrodinger's cat, black cat, spider cow, Wyrm, Bobbit Worm
Once you have self-determined any of these bonuses, stay consistent with the choice throughout all matches
5. Omikuji
Players wish for only one Omikuji that impacts all games; they automatically get what they wish for
Wish #1 - I wish for great upgrades
Great Blessing - base ups increase by 5 (total of 8 base ups)
Wish #2 - I wish to be on the quad mark
Pick one of the quad elements: Cardinal, Material, or Spiritual
Great Blessing - When using any of the 4 marks associated with the selected quad element, upgrade a maximum of 10 pillars of that quad element (these ups don't count as using other ups such as base ups)
Wish #3 - I wish for thiccness
Great Blessing - Decks that are at least 45 cards = additional 15 base upgrades (total of 18 base ups)

While fun to play PvE against mages, it's vulnerable to early CC and can be thoroughly curb-stomped by unsummon at any time.

Again, straighforwards. My win against Septima came from nighshadeing minotaurs because I didn't draw any orochi, but otherwise played much as expected. My loss against Serpex was through deckout, as I didn't draw any nightshades until too late and couldn't get my orochis going.

In general, my goal was to make my decks as different as possible. I drafted another cardinal quad that remained unused for being too redundant with my other decks. Perhaps it would have out-performed Fortune? It was smaller, so maybe wouldn't have spent so much time drawing four hand drills in a row when what I needed was an hourglass. Anyways, I digress. More properly built with 2 pens. It beat a 60-card stall with an early stormspike. Black magic.
I wanted to spice it up more than the standard version, but whatever.
