Interesting, but why the unupped made better than the upped?
Time bomb + this + heavy draw power would make a fun deck. Does it deals damage upon self sacrifice (I think no, but have to ask)?

Yes, the idea is to deal damage on self sacrifice... I can change to self destruct if that makes it more clear.
The idea with the upped version is that it is harder for the opponent to make use of it. The card is partly meant to be a deck clogger.
