-------------

Weirding Stone / Weirding Stone
Cost: 3 :aether / 3 :aether
Stats (if creature or weapon): -NA- (non-weapon permanent)
Ability(ies):

Further builds on light - aether spell manipulation.
It produces a copy of any spell that your opponent casts (only the first one cast each turn) and uses your light quanta to effectively power the spell.
You will only get as much quanta of the spell's element as you have light quanta in store, so this card requires a good deal of light production.

This card stacks, so playing a second stone will just increment the charge count. Similarly, deflagrate and other PC destruction will remove 1 charge each... which also means that EQ will be very powerful against this card.

It works against decks that counter themselves with their own spells, like rushes with CC, maybe SoSac and Miracle, decks with good permanents and PC spells (I can't think on one atm). It looks annoying, that's good.

can't claim all the credit.  It's inspired by a hearthstone card 'Trade Prince Galywix'
