OpenEtG adds a fun twist to a relatively old concept.
Use SoR to make steam machines free to inflate!
With midas touch, you now have PC to handle pesky weapons and shields.
Atlantis' protection also gives some limited anit-CC protection as well.
Squids, Eternity, and ice shield should help stall till steam machines overpower the opponent.
