Title: New demigod decks
Post by: cg on July 10, 2019, 08:58:14 pm
Current dgs (https://etg.dek.im/forum/index.php?topic=7)
Just getting a thread going for anyone who has ideas for new DGs. If we find having this all in one thread is problematic, I'll make a sub-board. Don't really want to clog up the decks board though so I like it over here more than over there.
A firestall with empathic bond and a bunch of small creatures. Holds numerous sources of CC, and packs a couple of Burn Cards just to be more annoying to OTKs, which would otherwise be able to tear through it. Fire bolts also work as endgame spell finishers if needed.

Not sure about this one, was just first SoSe throw together before deciding to go all in on monos. Maybe better to drop SoSe & make it an Alchemist deck
Based on ragequit decks. Shares their strategy of using antimatter, aflatoxin, and flooding to lock the board. A rainbow control with a permanent control stick should be able to consistently beat it.
A homage to ScaredGirl, the original community leader of the original Elements the Game. This deck is based on her famous False God rainbow, and relies on being able to CC opponent creatures to thrive.

orpheus was a mad dude from greece who fought sirens, was able to control rocks, beasts, one time he got angry after his wife died and go down to the underworld and yell at hades to get her back
the italian page of wikipedia is a lot better than the english https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orpheus, he was also in the divine commedy and he is related to the argonauts who got part in the iliad, there is also the terrible movie with brad pitt

Fugues... who can really follow all the newly introduced and recurring themes?
1. MUSIC a contrapuntal composition in which a short melody or phrase (the subject) is introduced by one part and successively taken up by others and developed by interweaving the parts. 2. PSYCHIATRY a state or period of loss of awareness of one's identity, often coupled with flight from one's usual environment, associated with certain forms of hysteria and epilepsy.
