Guilds - Forge

(Not sure if I am allowed to use shadows icon or not, but I assume it should be ok for the time being)

Now that I've finally managed to find the time to format this, here is a more detailed look at the next step for guilds. Keep in mind, this is not official yet, this is just a sneak peek.

There will be a new "currency" on the forum known as "Valor Points" which are used to purchase pieces of "equipment" that you can use during matches in league and in a new event I am planning. There are 3 different equipment slots: Jewelry(green), Facet/body(blue), and Weapon/offhand(red). You can only equip 1 of each at the most and you cannot equip things on incorrect slots(ex: you can't equip a weapon to a jewelry slot).

In leagues, you can use equipment you have purchased depending on the number of QP you have wagered:

  • 1 QP: Jewelry slot
  • 2 QP: Jewelry slot, Facet/Body slot
  • 3 QP: Jewelry slot, Facet/Body slot, Weapon/offhand slot

In addition, I will also add consumables that you can purchase for one time uses in guild leagues and other events, but for now I think I will just stick with equipment until I have it balanced out.

NameCostEffect

Ruby Ring       5 VP       The  [Ruby Ring] is a piece of armor that can be equipped in the jewelry equipment slot. When equipped, it gives you +50 hp during any guild pvp event.

Guild Insignia Ring8 VP        The [Guild Insignia Amulet] is a piece of armor that can be equipped in the jewelry equipment slot. When equipped, you can use x3 mark as long as it is a mark of an element within your guild.

Ring of Hasting             9 VP       The Ring of Hasting is a piece if armor that can be equipped in the jewelry equipment slot. When equipped, you can upgrade 7 extra pillars/pendulums in your deck without counting towards the upgrade limit(you can use them as though they weren't upgraded).

Steel
Gauntlets

Sword of
Ultimatum
10 VP        Reduce hp by 50%, gain 1 extra draw.

the Berserker

Questions:
Are they one time uses?
What do you mean by "you can use armor equal to the number of cards you wager"?

No, they can be used as many times as you want.

If I wager 2 Quanta Points(cards) then I can use a berserker helm and Iron Cross.

Some notes I have regarding all this:
Firstly, crystal ball can only be used after you have built your deck correct? I am worried it may be terribly OP otherwise...
When steel platebody is used in conjunction with the guild insignia ring, which has preference?
Using sword of ultimatum with hp buffs (steel platebody, ruby ring), the -50% applies after the buffs correct?
King of the hill bonus and banner carrier bonus applies when beating the person on top of the ladder and the person carrying the most QP respectively correct? (If so, I have a major target on my back lol)
When it says competitions, will these be guild aligned comps or forum-wide?
Sword of ultimatum only doubles the draw, not the deck size correct?

Crystal ball is used after the deck is built, but I think I feel like its OP either way since it reveals decklists for playtesting against. I think I will change it so that it instead it forces the person to reveal all the cards of a specific type(creature, spell, permanent) or might just remove it since its kind of a troublesome idea.

You can choose whichever one takes effect for steel body and the ring, so you can choose to nullify either the +100 HP OR the 3x mark. I'll make sure to specify that.

Sword of ultimatum applies after the other bonuses. Thats why I said 50% less rather than just 50 less. I will specify that as well.

King of the hill bonus is for the person who is at the top of the leader boards, but flyingcat is at the top atm I think. Banner carrier is decided every week, but I haven't started that yet.

Competitions are forum wide.

I thought double draw gave you double deck size automaticly? That was the intention.

The equipments are not one time use.

Oh so I don't "spend" my points in the equipments? If I have 12 points I can use 12-point equips in multiple battles?

You must spend points to buy equipments, but once you have bought one you can use it forever. At least that is my understanding of them.

This is correct.

I'll assume it's like QP, where if I buy X, D2D can't use it unless he buys it too.
