Title: Event 2: Look Ma, I Took a Screenie!

In this event, each guild will attempt to collect screenshots of different things. Each one will be worth some points depending on difficulty.

DECK RESTRICTIONS
Standard restrictions, 75% in element (for the purpose of this event, specific cards required for screenie count as in element), 20% upped. ROUND THOSE DOWN!!! For example, 31 deck can use 6 ups max.

RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
1. Sandbox is allowed, as long as decks used are legal.
2. Custom AIs and PvP are NOT allowed.
3. The decks used for each screenie will be submitted as well.
4. Disobeying any of the rules will result in a void screenie. (You can make it non-void by fixing what you did wrong)
5. If you think you found a loophole, please check with a GO to make sure it's valid. We doesn't engrish gud wif requirements.
6. Take a picture OF THE WHOLE SCREEN
7. No editing screenies.
8. 10 point penalty for breaking rules 2 and 7.
9. Screenies will be submitted by PMing YOUR GO with your screenie and deck as the event goes on. We will update second post. Your GO is responsible for modifying the second post. Blame them :P

Worth 1 pt
Upgrades are for noobs: Beat Demigod with unupped deck. Colosseum predictions allowed.
Playboy: Win the game with every nymph on your field
Commoner: Beat a Champion with only Common/Uncommon cards. Upgrades allowed.
I cri every tiem: Win with 6 NT in hand
NEVER GONNA GIIIIIIIIIIIVE YOU UP: Rickroll a GO that's not in your guild or make them think a link is a Rick Roll. Screenie must include GO admitting the Rick Roll.
Pillars? What?: Win without any pillars on your field.

Worth 3 pts

Absolutely Flawless: Win a game against a Champion with full HP (Take screenie of your LAST TURN)
Screw the rules, I have cats: Win the game with cats as the only creatures in your deck. (Byakko is a cat)
Believe it: Win with the Wet Dream Bow against A CHAMPION. WDB: Any rainbow deck (5 elements or more) that uses 3+ Clepysdra to draw opponnent's hand while having 2+ Dream Catcher and a way to fill opponent's hand. Must be legal.
The Power of One: Beat a Mage with your deck containing at most one copy of every card besides pillars and pendulums.

Worth 5 pts

Weapon Master: Win a game with 24 different elemental weapons out.
CardsR4Noobs: Win a game without using any creatures or spells.
Beginner: Beat a Champion with a starter deck and the free packs.
Streaker: Go on a streak of 20 against Mages
240BLAZEIT: Win with exactly 240 max HP and with a Fire Bolt. Take a screenshot of the final turn.
RNJesus Hath Blest Thou: Win a game with 1 HP remaining and a Fog/dusk Shield out



Bonus cookies if you can figure out which three parodies I reference in the 3 point screenies.
Cookie: flyingcat will give you a cookie. You win his undying respect, and realize that he is never sarcastic.

FAQ
Q: I think the GOs are cheating! They probably took all the screenies before the event!
A: We didn't. We did do a bit of theorizing though.

420 is so material bias. Spiritual'll work out, but poor Cardinal, so hard. Material bias with requiring fogs & NTs too

You may remove personal details, but if we suspect that anything else was edited, that screenie is voided.

Please number the challenges so it's easier to keep track of what we do.
Nice event, but please remve the 420 HP and the NT one because they ARE made for material decks.

The RNJesus Health...  it's 1 card, I guess it's fine

I modified those a while back. Deck Restrictions now make those necessary cards in-element.
Also, 420blazeit too mainstream, now it's 240blazeit.

Also 240 is win by firing a fire bolt right? Super, we gorra get a lot of quanta for 2 out-elememts

It will be better to only post the screenies in out respective guild threads and NOT PM to all the GOs. This is because another GO can tell their guild a strategy made by other guild that they can copy.
Then each GO can update the points of their guilds in the main event thread.

This idea came because timpa thought on a highly creative (and kinda rainbow) strategy for a 5-point challenge and another teams may reproduce it.

Because WDB is the best, we'll let you make you're own builds as long as it follows this:

WDB definition: Any rainbow deck (5 elements or more) that uses 3+ Clepysdra to draw opponnent's hand while having 2+ Dream Catcher and a way to fill opponent's hand.

Make sure the cards are usable

How do you (GOs) control we are beating a champion with a starter deck + free packs instead of a custom unupped deck made by ourselves?

I suggest removing this task or changing it to just a starter deck.

I added dusk shield as an alternative requirement for RNJesus to remove some of the material bias. Cardinal has novas so getting out fog shield isn't that hard.

Some of these screenies are going to be much easier for some guilds than others... for instance the "CARDSR4NEWBIES" basically means using only permanents, which is going to be a lot easier for cardinal thanks to fluxor...

speaking of cardinal...
do catapults count as cats? :)

The way I did Cards4noobs used cardinal stuff only for support and would be even easier in material. Think harder Odin ;)

Quick question: Would any colored nymph or any colored pendulum count as in element for "Playboy: Win the game with every nymph on your field" (i.e. you need either a pillar/pend or the nymph to get the nymph, right?)

Me and FC agree that there is no need to change it to starter deck only. Of course, you will get +1 brownie points(which we like to keep track of) for doing it with only starter deck anyway.

That being said, you can read this spoiler if want to hear how I came to that decision:
(I made it a spoiler because its kind of pessimistic, but its a good explanation)
People can cheat on any of these in a huge number of different ways. Its really not that hard to cheat at an event like this, so we GO's(at least I assume this is the mentality) make an automatic assumption that people will be honest with their screenshots and will take only enough precautions to drive away the common mans temptation.

Beyond that, its the persons choice if they want to ruin the fun or not. If you're caught genuinely cheating though, its a perma-ban from guilds and all guild events(maybe even regular tourney's). Cheating in events where people put time and effort into it is so insulting that it makes me sick.

I figured I should ask the community on: In the event of a tie, would people rather have a tie breaking guild match between the 2 guild leaders, or more screenies to complete? The latter would probably be sudden death, so whoever would get all screenies done first wins.

Personally, I like the guild leader duel idea. I would prefer saving the other ideas we have for screenshots for a sequel.

For future reference: avoid ties by granting different points for challenges completed vs more difficult AIs

Duel is best imo. Sudden death screenshot could turn out to be "whoever is in the right time zone and/or has most time will win", rather than actually measuring skill.

Guild Leader Tie Breaker match:

Best of 9 match with fully upgraded decks and standard 75% in element(quantum is in element). 7 cards in a 30 card deck can be out of element, for reference.

the guild masters may choose any legal deck to play with at the beginning of each game. They do not have to play the same deck twice, but they may choose to if they want.

The match must be supervised by a GO, both players send the decks they will play prior to each game to the GO that is present(to ensure the decks are legal). Since this duel is deciding the winner of the event, it's important to ensure that there are no mistakes in deck list legality.

Technical difficulties (such as unintentionally clicking away) are forgiven for the first time for each player, but after that it becomes a game loss. If you are having technical difficulties, you may request that you continue th e duel at a different time. It is reccomended that you do a few test games prior to the official match To ensure that you are well connected.

Lastly, what the GO says goes, their word is final. Think of them as the ref.

Timpa and Fippe, if you haven't already, try scheduling your match within the next 6 days. Just make sure to PM the GO on the time so they can be there.(I will be busy for the next 4 days, so if you guys want to get it done sooner than later than ask either FC or Kirby).
