Hi, my name is pimpollo and I like insects. I like them so much that we got a new trait added during an event for designing what was meant to be new weapons. Anyway, now we have the Bug trait. I still can't believe it's really here. What a good time to be a bug fan. Rejoice.

But so far, Infested Log is the only card that interacts with this trait. What else could there be?

I wanna see your ideas. If anybody has card ideas for bug support, anti bug, or anything bug themed, please dump them in this thread. This is mostly for fun, so please post anything. No idea is too dumb. I'll try to respond to posts in this thread, and if I am feeling ambitious, I may try to draw some of the ideas. I may throw my own in there, too.

Okay, here goes. One log and one cyberweapon. After I drew the cyberweapon I started worrying that perhaps it should be a ray gun instead, but since it doesn't have the 'ranged' tag, I figured this would be fine. What? How dare I draw a cyberweapon traditionally rather than digitally!

Cyberweapon was psionic at one point until we decided it didn't need it. You were right either way.

found time this weekend for fishing pole / possessed sword. taking some creative liberty in possessed sword implementation, feel like it'll need some ways to generate more haunted tokens

4 to go. Not sure how to go about implementing maul, hero/feathers will need some book keeping like steam machine, heatstroke is straightforward but will involve a bit of typing. Then to fix this stuff so it compiles

This session took a couple hours since I went with programming on my contra (trying layout with letters flush against sides, middle two columns a buffer to help space hands, using bottom middle 4 keys as thumb cluster) instead of the voyager which is what I've been using at work. At this point I have trouble typing with QWERTY too (muscle memory all messed up, but maybe it'd all come back after a few minutes) so it's pretty bad

Very cool, thanks for doing this. I think I see what you did for the Entropy weapon boquet token with the guardian angel. Looking forward to see what you do for the rest. Am excited for Hero shield

Anti mass CC with no mantis required?? I must have it. What if the damage effect only activates on enemy turn or once per turn? Then it remains a mass CC deterrent without being an easy otk with fractal + dry spell. Or it could just be more expensive. There's a lot of knobs to turn.

It does feel a bit like the Writ cards tho, so might need a way to differentiate itself from those.

Could also call it "Mine Turtle" or something when it's upgraded cuz there are not many turtles in the game and can fit a several elements.

Anyway, I like this idea.

Yes, you've preserved the mutant/PU interaction. It also applies to regrade. I have decks built around each of these combos.

And would you be so kind to please share these decks with the rest of the class?

These same rules apply to Unstable Shapeshifter (hence the funny quads with shifter/immortal/hognose/charger)

Relevant code is `transform` in game.rs

transform also applies mutation effects when instance has mutant status, so casting jelly on a mutant (note spider cows are not mutants) creates a jelly with a mutant active (but cast/attack/hp are overridden by jelly spell after transform)

If spider cows are not mutants, then why does casting jelly on a cow grant it a random active?

Additionaly, does the mutant trait have any other interactions? There aren't any cards that directly state effects on this trait.
