Type: Spell
Abilities:
  • unupgraded: Mill your own deck until the top card is a creature. Draw that creature.
  • upgraded: Mill your own deck until the top card is a creature. Play that creature.

Description / clarification

Can't really feel how powerful it is, has a combo potential. Upped is a cheap and fast way to get out dragons (notice it's mills other Calls as well, so not that reliable).

Would suggest 5|0 and 8|0 in upped, but would let both on 1  :chroma .

It could seems to be much, but it's not. Comparing to Shadow, it has less chance to survive (no noctural), killing it (in most case) is a huge disadvantage to opponent and Shadow is still UP :/

It'll be a 'direct damage' with a great card disadvantage, so normal tactic will be to use it fast enough to not 'feel' the bad side, like Fractalling/Time rush/mill (milling is actually not that efficient, because you have to wait a turn normally to mill.

hmm... what do you think about having it be a :chroma spell that converts an equipped weapon into a 2-handed version, providing bonus attack and extra flown HP.

I.e. "Target equipped weapon gains
'2-handed'. It occupies both slots (replaces shield), gains +5 damage, and +5 flown HPs."

So, an elementally more flexible Tempering with a disadvantage? Hmm...

Neat idea though. Maybe a different element?

Overflowing, but most of it UP (no one would want to pay +1  :chroma just for a situational +1 attack with a tiny side effect Edit: Comparing to Short sword, longsword is even better). And all of it has a different purpose to exist.

And I don't want to ruin the 2 weapon/element scheme.

Description / clarification

An'old' idea what never really went to the forum, till now.
Basically a Morning Star|Titan with +1-2 attack, without any positive effect and a side-disadvantage. Still will be very effective in rainbow rush.

Drops actual shield, when comes to play and drops self, if you play|get a shield.

Hmm... What if it would copy the permanent instead of transforming, making the 2x Dial near to uselessness (So, only can copy with the same counters as the original Sundial)
That sounds better!
Also, the name doesn't fit the mechanic imo

With the change it won't. I need to think on a new name.

Unupped mostly useless. Upped is fine

They are too different to be the same card.
What serp said is 100% true, make the upped one a different card with an unupped version. Just "Freezes foe's creatures for a turn if flooded."

Unupped changed and edited.

Edit: Upped changed from 'foe' to 'target player'.

The best use I see is mixing the unupped with upped lockets. It seems to take too long to have other uses with more expensive permanents.

Sundial, Cloak, Rico (with the -1 cost buff in the 15-8). But added "Immaterial" to ruins.

Description / clarification

Being unique only stops the counters to raise up, so can copy a free or 1 cost card without issues. Non-wieldable means shield (Dim) and weapons. Can copy opponent's stuff as well.
