Pick packs. Host opens them for you. Build a deck from the cards you opened plus free pillars and pendulums. Your deck takes on other players' decks in a battle royale simulation. Your deck will have 2 lives.

Timeline
Signed: 2 week signups and pack 'opening'; 1x mulligan (reroll) before signup deadline; April 24th deadline
Sealed: card pool is sealed; 2 week deckbuilding submission deadline; submit 1 deck by May 4
Delivered: Decks delivered to 2 pilot hosts; they will pvp simulate submitted decks battle royale style.
Signups:
1. Create a forum post indicating your intent to join the competition
2. State your first and second elements in the signup post
3. Host will post the cards they opened for you publicly
4. You have until signup deadline to 'keep' the cards you opened or to do a 1x mulligan 'reopening of new packs'. If you opt for the mulligan, you may not go back to the first set of opened cards. Mulligan includes choice of new elements if you wish.
Deckbuilders pack selection is as follows:
Pick your first element = 145 cards
5 bronze packs; 50 cards
8 silver packs; 48 cards
9 rare packs; 45 cards
2 nymph pack; 2 cards
Pick your second element (cannot be same as main) = 91 cards
3 bronze packs; 30 cards
5 silver packs; 30 cards
6 rare packs; 30 cards
1 nymph pack; 1 cards
--Event host will open your pack selections andnotify you via forumPM post to this thread publicly.
--Random element (?) can be one (not both) of your pack ‘elements’; same with chroma
but that is not recommended
--You are restricted to the number of copies to place in a deck based on the copies of that card you pulled from packs; if you only pulled 5 devourers, you may insert a maximum of 5 devourers in your deck
--Understand that packs are RNG and designed so you don't get all of the cards from one element easily including common cards; packs also draw 'off-element' cards.
--We recommend you practice opening packs to see what you typically get; notice that you're unlikely to get all the cards for a deck you might want to reverse engineer from pack selections
--Battle matches will be RNG determined
--Understand that pilot hosts do their best to play decks optimally but there is chance for pilot error
--Cardpools will be posted publicly as you signup; mulligans will be announced via forum post as they happen and cardpools will be updated

--Only using cards received from packs
--May additionally use any pillar or pendulum (no marks)
--May use a maximum of 15 upgrades in their deck to apply towards any single card in deck
--Decks will be posted publicly at deadline
Delivered: your decks are sent to host pilots for battle
--Your deck will have 2 lives. If it loses in a h2h matchup, it loses 1 life
--Matches will be round based
--Your deck will be randomly paired with other players' submitted decks; this will continue to happen until your deck loses twice or is the single deck remaining
--Rules for ‘byes’ when there are uneven opponents: randomly determined but favoring decks with fewer lives remaining; when given a bye, next round favoring a deck with more lives remaining.
Rewards:
1st place: 40k gold and 2 shiny nymphs
2nd place: 30k gold and 1 shiny nymph
3rd place: 20k gold and 1 shiny rare
Participants: 15k gold

ash eater: reduce strength by 1, activate to gain 1 strength for next attack
stonewall: reduce cost to 8
purify: unupped costs 1, upped gives 3 counters
frailty: gain maxhp for amount hp reduced
infected: reduce upped hp by 1
corpse explosion: unupped also damages caster, poisonous poisoned targets only inflict 1 poison
bw: cost 7/6, unupped only gains 1 charge
debris: cost 6/5, unupped only gains 1 charge
psyche metal: fix action running with incorrect turn info
phase salvager: revert stats to original 6/4 strength
sabbath: proc on mulligan
Additionally, mulligan has been updated from Paris Mulligan to London Mulligan
(unlike MTG, cards removed from hand are shuffled back into deck, rather than put at bottom)
Players going second have their mark proc at the start of the game
