A time themed version of overdrive for weapons.

Each time your weapon deals damage, its next attack will deal the above listed additional damage.

If the weapon is stopped from attacking due to delay or freeze, or if its attack fails due to a shield preventing all damage (miss, block, absorb, etc). Then the damage bonus resets to zero.

The effect stacks. E.g. if you had two copies of aeon force in play, each successive attack would gain +4 damage.

Only your equipped weapon is affected by this. Flown weapons and crusaders will not benefit from it.

The effect also resets if the weapon is replaced, destroyed, stolen, flown, etc.

Sundials and Shard of Patience will also reset the effect. Even though they don't specifically stop weapons, this will help balance the mechanic. The same would go for any effect that stops all creatures on the owner's side from attacking.

Each of these permanents contributes and counts up individually. If one is destroyed or stolen, its contribution is lost.

Does it stack? It looks like it would be better if it didn't.

It does stack, but the effect is highly disruptable (see vanilla forum discussion link).

I mention it in the notes that dials and SoPa will even disrupt the effect.

This should be much easier to do in oEtG as well since procrastination and ice shield can freeze / delay a weapon and thus reset the bonus.
Moreover, we have a lot more choices in terms of shields, and a lot more CC and anti-weapon choices.
For instance, lifesmith and upped fluxor could forcibly fly the enemy weapon, resetting the bonus. You could also use "Give" to forcibly replace the opponents weapon (again, resetting the effect).

Lastly, even if the weapon itself is given shield bypass and made untargettable, you could still pick off the Epoch Forces directly (and give is always an option :D )

This hopefully means that every element should have some form of counter unless a lot of effort is put into setting up a dedicated strategy...

This seems like it's overshadowed by Momentum/PA/Arse. PA optional

Perhaps... although you could throw this in that combo and have both.
