It's probably not a new idea, but it's new to me. Use Tesseract + Hand Drill to get a couple of shamans out, then switch gears and and start pumping out Sharks. Make sure only to activate the drills when you need more creatures in your deck for the tesseract to pull out; that way, you're more likely to draw the good cards in your deck, and if you suddenly need to switch back to pumping out shamans, you can do so.

The Sharks are a MUCH faster clock than waiting for your opponent to naturally mil out, and I frequently found that your opponent could dig out of the "lock" or simply present 100+ damage in a turn if you gave them that much time to figure it out.

The great thing about using a creature for the win condition is you only need to run one in the entire deck, giving you the best odds of getting a couple of shamans down early and avoid being overrun. When you do get tesseract set up. you can "tutor" it out with tesseract, then make a million copies. Their is the risk of your one copy of Shark of Void getting destroyed, in which case, you'll have to fall back on mill.

It has to be sharks since your own shamans are also healing your opponent, healing doesn't do anything against max life reduction, though =).

Emerald shield + aflatoxin might be unnecessary, but it's a great way to gum up your opponent's board.

I'm not saying this is a deck that can farm demigods (it's most definitely not) but I DID get one game off a demigod.

Neat that you found it on your own and an efficient, focused build.

Yes, it's been explored before:

With even a suggestion from me to use Shark of Void:

With Georesonator quanta base:
