"Win with non-positive HP, or foe loses from damage..."

Foe losing from damage seems like a basic win condition, so I'm guessing there's more text hidden behind the victory card.

What is the full text? And what's the technical meaning behind the two cases?

Thanks for any insight!

Basically that the Opponent died before you died. so you won even if you ended with negative HP. at least if I remember it well.

Right, I'm asking about the specifics of how that can happen.

Suppose you and your opponent have 5 hp. It's your opponents turn and they attack you with 2 creatures:

* A creature with -5 attack but vampire (first attacker)
* A creature with 11 attack (second attacker)

You will win, with your opponent having 0hp and you having -1
:chroma :gravity :time

Interesting, so the game decides to make the 2nd attack happen even after the other player is dead?

But tracks who died first?

Yes

This also impacts cases where in original the game would end before a bunch of vampires healed the player to full, preventing EM, whereas in oetg the player will end with full hp
