Hi, my name is pimpollo and I like insects. I like them so much that we got a new trait added during an event for designing what was meant to be new weapons. Anyway, now we have the Bug trait. I still can't believe it's really here. What a good time to be a bug fan. Rejoice.

But so far, Infested Log is the only card that interacts with this trait. What else could there be?

I wanna see your ideas. If anybody has card ideas for bug support, anti bug, or anything bug themed, please dump them in this thread. This is mostly for fun, so please post anything. No idea is too dumb. I'll try to respond to posts in this thread, and if I am feeling ambitious, I may try to draw some of the ideas. I may throw my own in there, too.

The main problem is the most recurring card with this trait are scorpions, that are not even bugs or insects but arachnid. So do something thematic, that makes sense is even more harder.

For example, the first "buff" would be to make every bug immune to the normal poison (but affected by neurotoxin) like happen to scorpions and spiders. But real bugs aren't immune to poison. Mutation is another card that can interact, like always giving + 5 / +5. Tunneling can be another interaction

Also is the chance to totally rework plate armor to something like "scale armor" that can be intended as dragon or rock scales and create different interactions with dragons and bugs/insects

Pheromone - spell - draw the top two bugs from target player's deck. Upped: draw the top two bugs from both players' decks.

Not sure about cost/element, life seems like the most logical but then it would be in-element with log, which might mean it needs to be more expensive...

Caterpillar: Pillar. When paying for a bug card, it consumes 1 quanta of your mark as if it was 1 quanta of the bug card cost. (example your mark is fire, it will reduce your fire quanta by 1 to pay for 1 dark quanta you don't have for a pest, for example)

Bughunt: Ripley. Catch! place a chimera, flying titan or mutant card to the bottom of the opponent deck. (Ripley: if you have an aquatic card in play, this card plays for free with the following effect: targetting a chimera the opponent just created or a titan that started flying. (you now, aquatic because they are marines.)

Insecticide: Spell. Turn target creature into a bug, it counts as it entering play then change it's skill into burrow. if the creature is a bug, it gets poisoned 3 poison tokens.
