Cost: 1 :chroma / 1 :chroma
Stats (if creature or weapon): 3 | 1 / 4 | 1
Ability(ies):
  • unupgraded: " Instead dying, give it to foe. (Tag)0: Goes into random slot. If the slot was occupied, move target to an other slot  and goes to it's owner's hand."
  • upgraded: " Instead dying, give it to foe. (Tag)0: Goes into random slot. If the slot was occupied, move target to an other slot and goes to it's owner's hand."

Description / clarification

Rather a fun card, but there's no Other creature, so... why not.

It does not trigger death effects, so effects, statuses and others remain. If LW-d and destroyed, becomes the weapon of foe. Passive ability. Poisoning it would make a funny, side switching creature with insane poison stacking (sad, it does not die, so no synergy with Epidemic) :D

Edit: It evades the targeting what would kill it, or resets own HP to 1 if "killed" by poison.

Edit: Seemed UP compared to Skeleton|Shadow, became more cost effective. Gain "Tag" active. Tagged Dodgeball activates it's Tag effect.

Edit: Bounce and giving 1 cost to nerf Dodgetal.

So what does it synergize with? If I face an opponent with mass CC thi is worse than nothing. Still OP with Fractal imo.

Uhm... Haven't thought about that, because it was for fun, but slight synergies with skull shield or filling the 5 opposing slot for Flooding.

Changes made in OP to clarify what actually happens with poison and thinking on if upped would cost 2  :chroma with 3|1 (or 3|2).

Make it high damage and low hp. That encourages synergy with cc decks...

Question, you mention sacrificing this card in the tag...
but the ability prevents if from dying...
So would it just bounce back to the original player then?

This could lead to an infinite bounce cycle if the field is full...
That could be prevented by having it injure the thing it bounces off of... which would be highly amusing... and very much like a good hardcore dodgeball game...

Injuring does not solve the problem, like, it generates back itself :D

Changing the sacrifice to leaves play without dying.

Or you could just go with the "bounce" mechanic (e.g. goes to the player's hand)...
then it really is like playing dodge ball... you smack someone on the other team with the ball then they pick the ball up and throw it back at you.
And with flooding you will have one doozy of a water hazard...
this card could be very fun!

I think if it makes it in I will have to come up with a dodge ball tournament.

I take you at your word, OP changed :D Thinking on heighten Dodgeball's cost to 1  :chroma (make Fractal rush slower)
