Glow worm - A sundial of the ocean floor; well known at parties for spewing its heavy mucus at everyone

Traits: Aquatic, Nocturnal
Skill: Spew 1 :gravity
Non-airborne creatures are delayed one turn and their HP increases 1
Cannot target weapons

Play partners: Cardinal - Tess, Null, Tidal; Gravy Shield;  sturdier martyr, byakko; bloodmoon; Water/Goo/inertia/bubble/Worm/Sopa/target, get gravy going, then domination; cheap buffer of 0 hp - shadow, spark, phsalvage, scarab; how about buffing the buffer byt

Role: Light feels lacking in inter-element synergy; slow-down control without breaking unspoken hard cc taboo; would be first creature with targeted hp buff

Inspiration: Glow or Gossamer worms; Deep sea and bioluminescent; some known to 'spew yellow mucus' to deter predators; see 'Tomopterids'

Does it delay itself?

Interesting synergy with Shard of Patience and Chimera.

No delay to self as is the case for Wardens.  Warden grabs someone so they're 'busy'.  Lowkey make upped cost zero, but increase skill to 2 quanta.  Seadial. Not sure about targeting non-airborne, perhaps it doesn't need restriction or is redundant with Sopa wardens.
