The idea is something like the 4-element pillars, but for different groups of elements, and as pendulums.
These pendulums would alternate:
- 2 quanta at random from the theme group (of 4 choices)
- Mark quantum (or quanta for rainbow mark)
Upgraded versions would give 1 random quanta from the theme group when played.
Some theme ideas:

- Seelie (
)
- Mausoleum (
)
- Caldera (
)
- Observatory (
)
- Laboratory (
)
Not really sure about balance but it would be neat to have some options for thematic multi-colored decks.
The idea is that the pendulum gives slightly less output than a 4-color pillar (which gives 1.666 per turn rather than 1.5) in trade for slightly more color control.
Not sure which combos must be avoided for balance. Thoughts?
