Soft counters enemy immaterial status and protects your permanents from destruction. Should also synnergy very well with aether's immaterial creatures as well (good use for all those phase golems you probably have lying around).

This looks pretty interesting, and makes for a combo for the otherwise mostly useless phase golems. Not a very strong combo probably, but it's something. Enchantress+Phase Golem+Lodestone?

You forgot the loadstone...

Immaterial phase shield spam would be a little annoying though... Perhaps the ability can be changed to disallow permanents with timed lifespans. Would that be better?

It wouldn't be that bad with phase shields

Some elements would get a bit frazzled by immaterial phase shield spam... but we would still probably be better off than vanilla since the meta has more ways around shields.
Byako would have some fun.
Every element has at least one way around a shield lock. So this may not be game / meta breaking...

One can also get around them through CC on enchantress into shield timing out

Phase Shields are one of the most PC immune shields already when one runs so many redundant copies
