I think this card is in the vanilla EtG CI&A boards right now.
I believe it can target both creatures and weapons as suggested there.

My suggestion is to reduce both Envenom's cost by one.
In short term (2-3 turn) it has similar effectivity as Poison and with +1 turn as a Deadly poison. But you need a weapon and the weapon needs to stay on field for these turns.

I suggest also allowing it to effect shields, making it similar to spine carapace.

Would be interesting, thinking on how it would work on BW os Debris. And with how much chance (considering that it's stacks)?
