Nightmare nerf: unupped only heals 1, upped costs 2

  • -1 cost of Atlantis's Protection. It's about time
  • -1 cost of Solar Shield. Upped costs 0. Solar Shield isn't a good quanta producer (it becomes good once creatures are out, by then quanta isn't a big deal), the least it could do is not be counterproductive to that goal
  • +1 attack of unupped chroma weapons. Also unupped hammer has 20hp. It's about time
  • +1 attack of shank of void. We introduced Shank with uncertainty of how good SoV would be if it had other maxhp reduction cards to support it. While maxhp damage is definitely underrated, Shank overestimates it
  • Remove 'minimum penalty' on sosa. Simplifies card. maxhp reduction has a great matchup vs sosa regardless. Shell of Void isn't good alongside sosa
  • Bubble Shield: give target bubble. It makes sense. Peak bubble meta will be when you're using your bubble shield to pop your opponent's bubbles
  • Gravity Shield: -1 cost unupped, -2 cost upped. It's about time
  • Phantom: cost 0
  • Cloak: Hide hand too
  • Thermal Recoil: <costs 0/-1 to play>. Could use some experiments. Maybe have upped produce 4 quanta in future. We're cautious with recoil, but it should have a place

OLA changes:

Nerfs:
Pink Jelly on chromatic creature requires 12 chroma, not 4
Hognose -2hp
-1 attack to grey nymph being able to aflatoxin face is huge
-1|-1 to ferro golem, active draws for opponent too thanks kaempfer
Tess: change cost of active to Light. +1 cost. Death was our second pick
Boneyard: don't proc on Skeleton deaths Ferrodisc OTK, boneflood. We made this change to see if it was broken. Now we know
Locket: active costs 1 chroma Hopefully this slows down locketnertia rushes by a turn

Change:
Nightshade/Mitosis lobo, Devourer/ChromaticButterfly skill is passive removal of non-lobo skill additions simplifies

Buffs:
Gotp: discard damage restored to original's values I regret this nerf, might be an issue with inno tho
GoO: produce 6 chroma if mark is chroma it was like this a few months ago, changed to match text, but buff text instead
Atlantis: protect weapon/shield makes sense
-1 cost to armagio armagio isn't better than Heal
-1 cost to gravity dragon it's a start
Beguile cost 4/2
Whirlpool: no timer, allow upped to be activated multiple times a turn
Maschoism: update text to match current bug where unupped has upped behavior. Set unupped cost to 2
Seraph: ability can target matchs our philosophy of letting what could target target. Seraph is usually the best target anyways
Unupped Wyrm: +2 hp
Chaos Seed 2.0: -1 cost

As an aside, we'll be keeping an eye on if Ash Eater is the sleeper op of Fire. Our current thoughts are that a more CC heavy meta will handle it. Same applies to Shaman

Buffs:
  • Osmosis: rounded up
  • Fenghuang: come into play with bounce on self
  • Unupped locket: free, doesn't generate turn it's played (This allows changing the production a turn sooner. Also means you don't have trouble getting them out early on eg 2 lockets in opening hand without pillars means only one can land on turn 2)
  • Mirrors: Give them an active (heat mirror: 1, broken mirror: 2) to spawn token
  • Red Nymph: 1|11, 1|13
  • Improved Mutation: increment buff to 1-5 rather than 0-4
  • Upped Green Nymph: active costs 1
  • Unsummon: unupped: cost 1 upped: cost 3, caster gains quanta equal to cost of target. Helps on-play combos like with Alpha Wolf or gaining tempo when using cards like Mindgate or resetting creature for heal
  • Dream Catcher: :aether :aether :aether mill target player 1

Berfs:
  • Embezzle: -1 cost, only mill 2 on death. Scale mill with deckpower
  • RoF: thaw

Nerfs:
  • Hand Drill: can only target creatures
  • Reaper: can't target skeletons
  • Blue Nymph, Grey Nymph: -1 attack. These nymphs are rushy breakers, tone down their rush
  • Upped repulsors: +1 cost. Repulsors were originally costed with -2 on shields, but Repulsors don't have any awkward shield slot management
  • SoPa: don't proc turn it's first played (ie no buff, but creatures still attack)
  • SoI: shards buff by 1.5/2, cast shard only gives 1 stat, sosa doesn't give scorpion
  • Ferrogolem: equipment no longer comes into play readied
