I've just thought that as an optional thing (like, for better drawing chances) and to have a shard for Other (and because it'll fit in a lot of deck, it shouldn't be too powerful).

But if it's UP, then it could be free to play ( but the decreasing will stay) .

Cost: 1 :chroma / 1 :chroma
Stats (if creature or weapon): -
Abilities:
  • unupgraded: Generates 2 shard to your hand matching your mark. Decrements your Mark power by 1.
  • upgraded:  Generates 2 shard to your hand matching your mark. Decrements your Mark power by 1.

Description / clarification

It does not generate if your Mark power is 0. Generates random shards with Chroma Mark. Unupped generates unupped shards, upped generates upped.

Basically a 7. shard where it's needed (?), for 1+1 quanta loss at the turn and 1 more in every other turn.

Questionable power in Voidstall, can be abused with Metamorphosis.

Sadly, yes, but you can't fight against the nearly optimal quanta distributing effect (except with a nerf, but I find locket a very useful card).

You can achieve this by targeting a player with metamorphosis

And really, missed somehow.


It doesn't really help trios to use 6 metamorphosis with the goal of self targeting, since you could run 6 pillars matching mark too

Metamorphosis would be more useful if we had more mark interaction besides pends

Ohh, thanks for clarification.

Just thought because in that way I could fill the opp. hand with a pillar, denying the next draw if the opp. has 7 card in hand.

Interesting Light-Death synergy, but I can't remember a deck... wait, I can... it was... the PDial!!!

Just kidding, interesting idea, at the moment without place (I could only think of a full upped Flying Arsenic deck).

Not a big thing, but it would be nice if Meta could target the Mark itself. Of course it would not change it, just increments Mark's power.

You could increment your opponent's Mark as well, but I don't see any reasoning behind it.

It would be a big buff (like, it will be an indestructible pillar in itself), but you lose 1 quanta with it (directly in unupped and indirectly in upped) and you could use up to 6.

It would help to make a trio with 2 types of pillar and Meta-ing Mark.

How about it?

In autoconvert, make unupgrading optional, like with a checkbox.

Reasoning: when you are building a deck, most importantly at the beginning, you just need X unupped and 6-X upped in (or less if it's a shield or something like that), but the converter automatically deconverts, if you have less than 6 unupped. Mostly, it's just annoys me a bit.

First, thanks for the suggestions and I have mixed feelings about this card either.

Transform in prespell event, results in lightning killing it if it turns into a turquoise nymph. Would change to any targeting

Modified by those informations.

Also, is that art free to use? Devianart isn't unless it's specified by the artist.

I thought different, but I haven't checked deviantart for ages (literally for ages, that site sometimes too weird for me). Picture taken down.

Description / clarification

The conception is to make a Nymph for the Others, the ability could change. Nymph's Tear | Nymph Queen won't give it.

It changes to the targeting card's element (if it's Other, then randomiy changes to a non-Other Nymph).

Nerfed for rainbow decks (actually, it's buffed, the first version was written with Black hole effect on self).

Thinking on if targeted with a Thunderbolt or so (a card which would kill it), what should happen... the targeting effect applies on the transformed Nymph.

AI keeps filling the full field with Cell even against a PA-d Diamond shield (with "The Horde").

No other creature or perma was in play (except pillars).
